Comparison

EasyDooo vs TickTick

TickTick is a to-do app that grew sideways: tasks first, then a calendar, a habit tracker and a focus timer around them, all in one place. That makes it the closest shape to EasyDooo in this set, and the comparison is about where the two stop. EasyDooo keeps going into money, people and trips; a to-do app keeps going into the task itself. This page is specific about both directions.

Capture a task

To-do app with a calendar

A dedicated to-do app makes capture and completion as fast as a keyboard allows: one-line entry with dates parsed, reminders, recurring items, and lists organised the way the app's years of use have taught it.

EasyDooo

TasksFree

The quick-add bar takes the whole task as one line: !high for priority, #tag, @person, /project, and plain phrases like “next monday 3pm” for the due date. Tasks are unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Plan a week

To-do app with a calendar

A to-do app with a calendar puts the tasks that have dates onto a grid beside the day's events, so the list and the week are one view.

EasyDooo

Planner + CalendarFree

Planner puts everything with a date on it into one day, week, month or year view — tasks, reminders, events, budget items and ideas — with a Plan My Day list you reorder by hand and that stays reordered. Both modules are free.

Protect focus

To-do app with a calendar

A timer inside a to-do app keeps a log of sessions against tasks and, in this category, often sits beside a habit tracker that counts streaks.

EasyDooo

FocusFree

Focus is a timer that runs beside the task list it is timing, started from the task itself, and the time it records is written back onto that task rather than into a separate log. Free on every plan.

Keep work separate from personal

To-do app with a calendar

The usual way to keep two lives apart in a to-do app is folders or a second account.

EasyDooo

WorkspacesFree

One account holds a Personal and a Work workspace with genuinely separate data. The header toggle switches between them and your choice survives a reload. Calendar is the deliberate exception: it merges both into one grid so you can still see the whole week. Included on Free.

The left column describes what a dedicated to-do app with a calendar, habits and a timer built in is built for, not what TickTick does — we have tested our own app and nobody else’s. Our plan limits and prices are on the pricing page. The Android app keeps working offline and queues your saves; the web app needs a connection.

The honest part

When TickTick is the better choice

5 situations where the other tool is the right buy. If you are in one of them, nothing else on this page changes that, and we would rather you found out here than a fortnight in.

You want habits and a timer log in the same place as your tasks

EasyDooo's Focus timer saves each finished session against its task and shows it in the Calendar and the Planner, and that is all: no streaks, no reports of focused time, and no habit tracker yet; Habits is next on the roadmap, not in the app. If streaks and a record of focused time you can study are the point, a to-do app that has spent years on exactly that is the better buy today.

Your day genuinely is a to-do list

Task capture is one of nine things EasyDooo does; for a dedicated to-do app it is the only thing, and the depth shows: the shortcuts, the parser, the widgets, the speed of adding something and getting out. If nothing else in your day needs to be joined to your tasks, buy the tool built for tasks.

Your work runs through a dozen other services

EasyDooo connects to Google Calendar and imports people from Google Contacts, and that is the list. There is no app directory, no webhook builder, no public API and no integration marketplace. If your work runs through a dozen services that have to talk to each other, a specialist with a real integration catalogue will serve you better than nine modules that only talk to each other.

The work is shared with other people

EasyDooo is built for one person’s whole life, not a team’s shared board. A task takes a single assignee, chosen from your own People list rather than from teammates with their own logins, and there are no shared accounts, permission roles, approval flows or portfolio roll-ups. Team tooling is a different product and we are not pretending to be one.

You are bringing years of history with you

There is a CSV and vCard importer for People. There is nothing equivalent for tasks, projects or budgets, and no migration tool aimed at any other product. Everything else starts empty, which is fine for a fresh start and genuinely annoying if you have five years of archive to move.

Still here? Then the trade you are making is depth in one tool for the joins between nine. The free plan covers Tasks, Calendar, Planner and Focus with no card and no clock, which is enough to find out whether the joins are worth it before you pay for Budget, People or Travel. Downgrading never hides your data: paid modules become read-only.
