EasyDooo vs Microsoft To Do

Microsoft To Do is the list that comes with the office: free, synced everywhere, and joined to Outlook so a flagged email is a task. Its strength is that for a lot of people it is already installed and already signed in. EasyDooo is a product you choose and open, because the task sits next to the budget, the bill, the person and the trip. This page is about a list that lives in your mail against a system of its own, and it says plainly when the list is enough.

What we checked, and when

  • The product page says “Use Microsoft To Do for free and sync your lists across the web and iOS, Android, and Windows devices.” (read 14 October 2026)

  • The page says To Do “works seamlessly with Outlook tasks”, offers My Day with “intelligent and personalized suggestions”, lets you “break complex tasks down into simple steps”, and lists sharing. (read 14 October 2026)

  • The page states no price for To Do itself; its pricing section points at Microsoft 365 plans. (read 14 October 2026)

  • For reference on the same day: EasyDooo Pro is ₹199 a month or ₹1,990 a year, and Max is ₹499 a month or ₹4,990 a year; the Free plan has unlimited tasks, needs no card and does not expire. (read 14 October 2026)

Prices and plans change, and this page may already be out of date. Check microsoft.com/microsoft-365/microsoft-to-do-list-app yourself before you decide anything — that page is theirs, this one is ours, and theirs is the one that is right.

Capture a task

To-do list inside an office suite

A list inside an office suite captures the task where it arrives, from the flagged email, and suggests what to do today from what you already have.

EasyDooo

TasksFree

The quick-add bar takes the whole task as one line: !high for priority, #tag, @person, /project, and plain phrases like “next monday 3pm” for the due date. Tasks are unlimited on every plan, including Free.

Run a project

To-do list inside an office suite

In a to-do list a project is a list, and a big task is a task with steps. The structure is there to keep one list readable.

EasyDooo

ProjectsFree

A project holds milestones, notes and the tasks that belong to it, and those tasks are the same tasks that show up in Planner and Calendar. Free covers 3 projects; Pro and Max remove the cap.

Plan a week

To-do list inside an office suite

A to-do list in a suite leaves the week to the suite's calendar; My Day is the one-day view, built from suggestions.

EasyDooo

Planner + CalendarFree

Planner puts everything with a date on it into one day, week, month or year view — tasks, reminders, events, budget items and ideas — with a Plan My Day list you reorder by hand and that stays reordered. Both modules are free.

Keep work separate from personal

To-do list inside an office suite

The usual way to keep two lives apart in a suite is two accounts, the work one and the personal one, each with its own lists.

EasyDooo

WorkspacesFree

One account holds a Personal and a Work workspace with genuinely separate data. The header toggle switches between them and your choice survives a reload. Calendar is the deliberate exception: it merges both into one grid so you can still see the whole week. Included on Free.

The left column describes what a free to-do list that syncs with the mail and office apps you already have is built for, not what Microsoft To Do does — we have tested our own app and nobody else’s. Our plan limits and prices are on the pricing page. The Android app keeps working offline and queues your saves; the web app needs a connection.

The honest part

When Microsoft To Do is the better choice

5 situations where the other tool is the right buy. If you are in one of them, nothing else on this page changes that, and we would rather you found out here than a fortnight in.

Your tasks already live in Outlook

If the day starts in Outlook and every to-do is a flagged message, a list that is joined to Outlook tasks and signed in with the same account is the shortest path, and nothing in EasyDooo is shorter. EasyDooo takes a shared message or email into a task through the Android share sheet, which is a step rather than a flag.

A free list is all you need

EasyDooo earns its keep when the task connects to something else: a bill, a trip, a person, a project with milestones. A list of things to do, done, needs none of that, and a free list that is already on every device you own is hard to argue with.

Your work runs through a dozen other services

EasyDooo connects to Google Calendar and imports people from Google Contacts, and that is the list. There is no app directory, no webhook builder, no public API and no integration marketplace. If your work runs through a dozen services that have to talk to each other, a specialist with a real integration catalogue will serve you better than nine modules that only talk to each other.

The work is shared with other people

EasyDooo is built for one person’s whole life, not a team’s shared board. A task takes a single assignee, chosen from your own People list rather than from teammates with their own logins, and there are no shared accounts, permission roles, approval flows or portfolio roll-ups. Team tooling is a different product and we are not pretending to be one.

You are bringing years of history with you

There is a CSV and vCard importer for People. There is nothing equivalent for tasks, projects or budgets, and no migration tool aimed at any other product. Everything else starts empty, which is fine for a fresh start and genuinely annoying if you have five years of archive to move.

Still here? Then the trade you are making is depth in one tool for the joins between nine. The free plan covers Tasks, Calendar, Planner and Focus with no card and no clock, which is enough to find out whether the joins are worth it before you pay for Budget, People or Travel. Downgrading never hides your data: paid modules become read-only.
