Comparison

EasyDooo vs Splitwise

Splitwise does one job: who paid, who owes, settle up. Flatmates, trips, a dinner. It does that job with everyone in the group using it, which is the point and the catch. EasyDooo's splitting lives inside a trip, with the people on it, and your share flows into your own budget. This page is about a shared ledger versus a personal one, and it is clear about when the shared one is the only thing that works.

What we checked, and when

  • The Pro page lists adding as many expenses as you like each day with no interruptions, scanning receipt photos, itemizing a scanned receipt to assign items to friends, converting bills to any currency, spending charts by category and over time, and an ad-free experience. (read 14 October 2026)

  • The Pro page states no price and no currency; the Get Splitwise Pro button leads to a subscribe page. (read 14 October 2026)

  • For reference on the same day: EasyDooo Travel, which holds trip expenses and splits, is on Max at ₹499 a month or ₹4,990 a year; Budget is on Pro at ₹199 a month or ₹1,990 a year. (read 14 October 2026)

Plan a trip

Shared expense app

A shared expense app is a group ledger: everyone adds what they paid, the app nets it out, and the balances are visible to all of them at once.

EasyDooo

TravelMax

Travel holds the trip, its itinerary, a packing list and its expenses, and AI can draft an itinerary you then edit. Every expense you log also appears in Budget as an Entry under a Travel category, in the trip’s currency — one record seen from two places, and deleting the expense removes the Entry with it.

Track what it costs

Shared expense app

A shared expense app tracks what the group spent. What that means for your own month is a separate question it leaves to a budgeting app.

EasyDooo

BudgetPro

Budget holds income and expense Entries against categories and targets. It is not a bank-feed product and does not connect to your bank — an Entry is one you added, or one that arrived from a trip expense or from a task’s estimated cost.

Remember a person

Shared expense app

In a shared expense app the people are accounts: each friend signs in and sees their side. The relationship is a running balance.

EasyDooo

PeoplePro

Each record is a Person, with interactions, relationships and a last-contacted date. Log a meeting or a call and the matching Calendar event is added for you; delete the interaction and the event goes too. AI can write a catch-up brief before you dial, and existing people come in through a CSV or vCard file or straight from Google Contacts.

Keep work separate from personal

Shared expense app

A shared expense app has groups, and a group is whoever is in it; work and personal are different groups, not different modes.

EasyDooo

WorkspacesFree

One account holds a Personal and a Work workspace with genuinely separate data. The header toggle switches between them and your choice survives a reload. Calendar is the deliberate exception: it merges both into one grid so you can still see the whole week. Included on Free.

The left column describes what a dedicated app for splitting expenses with friends and settling up is built for, not what Splitwise does — we have tested our own app and nobody else’s. Our plan limits and prices are on the pricing page. The Android app keeps working offline and queues your saves; the web app needs a connection.

The honest part

When Splitwise is the better choice

5 situations where the other tool is the right buy. If you are in one of them, nothing else on this page changes that, and we would rather you found out here than a fortnight in.

Everyone in the group needs to see the balance

EasyDooo's trip split is yours: you add the people, the expenses and the splits, and the Who Owes Who card is on your screen. The other people on the trip do not sign in to EasyDooo, add nothing to your trip themselves, and see the settlement when you show it to them. A shared ledger where every member enters their own spending and watches the balance move is a different product, and for flatmates or a long group trip it is the right one.

The splitting is not about a trip

EasyDooo splits expenses inside Travel, so the group has to be a trip with dates. Rent with flatmates, a standing dinner rota or a shared subscription is not a trip, and the app has no other place to put a recurring split with the same people.

Your work runs through a dozen other services

EasyDooo connects to Google Calendar and imports people from Google Contacts, and that is the list. There is no app directory, no webhook builder, no public API and no integration marketplace. If your work runs through a dozen services that have to talk to each other, a specialist with a real integration catalogue will serve you better than nine modules that only talk to each other.

The work is shared with other people

EasyDooo is built for one person’s whole life, not a team’s shared board. A task takes a single assignee, chosen from your own People list rather than from teammates with their own logins, and there are no shared accounts, permission roles, approval flows or portfolio roll-ups. Team tooling is a different product and we are not pretending to be one.

You are bringing years of history with you

There is a CSV and vCard importer for People. There is nothing equivalent for tasks, projects or budgets, and no migration tool aimed at any other product. Everything else starts empty, which is fine for a fresh start and genuinely annoying if you have five years of archive to move.

Still here? Then the trade you are making is depth in one tool for the joins between nine. The free plan covers Tasks, Calendar, Planner and Focus with no card and no clock, which is enough to find out whether the joins are worth it before you pay for Budget, People or Travel. Downgrading never hides your data: paid modules become read-only.
